IOS 14 Custom Widget for the Scriptable app. It shows what‘s currently being played on Spotify with the help of the official Spotify Web API. Upon tapping on the widget it opens the Spotify app. Sort your Spotify playlists by any of a wide range of musical attributes such as tempo, loudness, valence, energy, danceability, popularity and more. Can you add more attributes to the app? Yes, but it is a tradeoff between display space, complexity and utility. You can find it on github; Does Sort Your Music overwrite my playlist when.

Go to an endpoint in the Interactive console on the developer website

Here's the Search endpoint
Get a token
There's a field called OAuth Token -
Click GET OAUTH TOKEN next to it.
Click REQUEST TOKEN.
Click OKAY.
Click REQUEST TOKEN.
Click OKAY.
Copy the key into a safe place
This token will expire in a hour, but some tokens you use may be indefinite. There are bots that scan GitHub for these keys to abuse them. Maybe there's not much damage someone can do with a Spotify key. But if someone had your AWS one..they could spin up a million servers and charge it to your credit card!
The solution is to stick it in another file that you then
.gitignore
.Use the token in our request
Before we send our request (ie before
request.send()
) we need to include this token in our request so Spotify can authorize us -Remember
The token only lasts an hour so you may need to go back to the developer site to get a new one for your
(OAuth Token field -> CLEAR TOKEN -> REQUEST TOKEN)
spotifyToken.js
-(OAuth Token field -> CLEAR TOKEN -> REQUEST TOKEN)

You'll know you need to this if you get a 401 Unauthorized error in your console. (If you get this error earlier you may not have pasted the token in correctly).
Further
We should really automate this token generation..one for further reading -

A library for writing services that focuses on composability and simplicity, with high performance using modern Java idioms and features.
Apollo
Apollo is a set of Java libraries that we use at Spotify when writing micro-services. Spotify mac system requirements. Hacked spotify apk. Apollo includes features such as an HTTP server and a URI routing system, making it trivial to implement RESTful services.
Apollo has been used in production at Spotify for a long time. As a part of the work to release version 1.0.0 we are moving the development of Apollo in to the open.
Apollo has three main parts:
Apollo API
The apollo-api library defines the interfaces for your request routing and request/reply handlers.
Apollo Core
The apollo-core library manages the lifecycle (loading, starting, and stopping) of your service and defines a powerful module system for adding functionality to an Apollo assembly. You do not usually need to interact directly with apollo-core; think of it merely as “plumbing.”
Apollo HTTP Service
The apollo-http-service library is a standardized assembly of Apollo modules. It incorporates both apollo-api and apollo-core and ties them together with several other useful modules to get a standard api service using HTTP for incoming and outgoing communication.
Apollo is distributed as a set of Maven artifacts, which makes it easy to get started no matter the build tool; Maven, Ant + Ivy or Gradle. Below is a very simple but functional service — more extensive examples are available in the GitHub repository.
